Grou, houseboat. Lovely holiday on the water. Just outside the water sport village Grou you will find this neat houseboat on a quiet spot in the open water. This houseboat has a neat interior and is completely equipped. From the living room but also from the terrace you have a lovely view of the water and of the meadows. The houseboat has 3 bedrooms, a fresh bathroom and a complete kitchen with various built-in equipment. In the shed you will find a washing/drying combination and an extra refrigerator. Behind the houseboat you can amuse yourself with the children in the grass. From Grou you can cross the water by ferry in order to reach the houseboat. Close to the houseboat you can find a parking place for your car. After a 5 minute walk you will reach the holiday house. During the summer months there are many tourists in the water sport village Grou. It is possible to bring your own boat (or to rent one) and moor it at the jetty near your houseboat. From your house you can enjoy the water of the Pikmeer or cycle through the many picturesque villages in the surroundings. From Grou you can make a beautiful trip on a traditional Frisian boat (Skūtsje). The Frisian cities Sneek and Leeuwarden (with some nice museums) are definitely worth a visit. Do you have children? You should certainly not forget the Chameleon village in Terhorne then. In Grou you will find, amongst others: a supermarket, baker, butcher, bars, restaurants with terraces, bank and a boat/bike rental. One dog is allowed. Smoking is not allowed.
